Before founding Kawachi Art Supplies Shop, I spent over 20 years working at the art supply counter of my family’s store, Kawachi Art Supplies in Osaka.

Art supplies can be bulky and difficult to carry — like large plaster casts or giant canvases.

I was always thinking of ways to help customers bring their purchases home more comfortably, rather than focusing on packaging appearance.

This bag is the same size as the largest plastic bag used in art stores. At 170 cm tall, I still have to bend my elbow slightly to keep it from dragging on the ground.

Even with a handle sticker, if the bag is too large to hold under your arm, it gets caught in the wind and becomes hard to carry.

That’s why I created the ECO BAG A1 — it’s a product born from experience and real customer needs.

You can carry it on your shoulder and stabilize it with your arm, reducing the load on your body.
It’s lightweight, folds compactly, and the material resists wrinkling.
There’s also a furoshiki-style adjustable width feature on the back, so it easily adapts to items of various sizes — super handy!
